| It's been a long time since we have protested last. We are
planning a protest that will happen before school starts again.
Hopefully we can actually protest on a weekday.
I was out today on Mooney Blvd. Supporting the troops with Mr. Huber
and a couple others and I thought of a patriotic sign that I'm planning
on making and displaying tomarrow. I'll use the large graphic
"choice" signs but I'll add another sign on top with the caption:
"Freedom for all?"
It's sad how our country was founded to provide freedom for all, but
they still had slaves then. We abolished slavery and yet we still
slaughter thousands a day. We need to have our voice heard.
We need to stand up for what's right, stand up for those who
can't.
I'm guilty of not speaking up, and I regret doing that. I need to be more outspoken.

| I just wanted to let everyone know that the beginnings of our website have been published at YAFH.org
| | |
| Dustin's Ramblings:
I was browsing Google for some images, the new profile pic is one that
I found....anyway I came across this site
and as I was reading
the comment I grew more and more frustrated because I saw so many
fallacious statements at the beginning only there were 24 pages of
comments and I was too late to comment on the terrible things before my
eyes. Anyway I was thinking, hey, I can just take some of those
stupid statements and talk about them on YAFH's Xanga...BTW I'm looking
for a host for the website I'm going to set up for YAFH, if anyone
knows of a good hosting service that'd be great.....back to the stupid
statements...I'm going to take a couple of those statements, post them
today and day by day dissect them, hopefully it'll only take a few
days. If anyone wants to disect one just let me know and I'd be
happy to let you post. Ummm, so here are a couple utterly
stupid statements(sorry, some of them are kinda long):
1. "Although I am pro-choice, I am also anti-abortion"
2. "At 12 weeks, could a foetus survive outside the
mother's womb? My guess is no. What do you think Rhetorical? Given that
at that stage of development, the foetus could not survive out in the
world, should we really consider it as alive? My opinion, no."
3. "Given that there are already millions of unwanted
children on the planet, with no homes or loving families, is it really
fair to introduce even more?....There are many unwanted kids in the world; If
contraception or abortion are needed to reduce the number of kids
suffering the terrible hardships unwanted kids sometimes suffer (often
rape, or death on the streets), so be it.
"
4. "But denying the choice of abortion naturally forces
the birth of a child which should then become your obligation if the
mother has no intention or ability to care for this born child. Does denying the choice of abortion also force the mother to carry the child in a healthy manner?
"
5. "As for cases in which the woman becomes pregnant as
a result of rape or incest, certainly an exception should be allowed.
In the former case, the woman was not a consensual participant in the
sex, so obviously it's not at all her fault that she's pregnant. In the
latter case, children conceived from incest can face serious health
problems, and therefore it's probably in everyone's best interest that
the pregnancy be aborted."
6. " How come you never see pro-lifers
in intensiev care units, stopping people from turning off life support
machines?" Terry Schivo anyone???
7. "Furthermore, if you have children you know that
sometimes they can drive far past what you thought was the limit of
your patience. Now, imagine if this child that was testing your
patience was one that you never wanted and were forced to have. The
amount of resentment such a parent would feel would be unbelievable,
and in my opinion there are already far too many children in this world
who bear the brutal brunt of their parent's resentment in the form of
abuse and neglect.
"
8. "Having an abortion IS taking responsibility for
one's behavior, and it's a fact that this is NOT why most women have
this procedure done. And about your idea that it encourages
irresponsible behavior, I submit that society would have behaved
irresponsibly in the absence of abortion, virtueless--that's just how we are! If anything, it's only another manifestation of everything that's wrong with us today. Open your eyes and look around you, virtueless--everyone behaves badly at some point.
"
9. "The pro-choicers are right and the pro-lifers are
right. Face facts... each party should worry about their own backyards
and let the others be... this constant banter is rediculous... do you
not see the 'idiocracy' of this argument? If you don't want to abort a
child, then don't... if you find it necessary under law then do so...
As our government is ultimately governed under God... trust in our
government... make your arguments in that direction with your votes
this Novemeber. Although it is a good debate and valid points on both
sides are put forth... there is nothing either side is going to do.
Keep your religious beliefs to yourself and your church... and the
other doctrines will do the same... simple. No one belief is ultimate."
10. "Every sperm my body produces is a potential life.
Does a woman have the right to deny those potential lives the
opportunity to develop? Can I compel women to have sex with me so that
the potential lives represented by my sperm are not deprived of their
right to life? Likewise, every egg produced by my wife is a potential
life. Can she compel a man to have sex with her so as to protect the
right to life of these potential human beings? Is the right to life of
these potential human beings so great that the rights of all other
actual human beings are to be suborned in their protection? In short,
to what extent are are you personally willing limit or remove the
rights of actual women to protect the rights of potential children?" | | |
| Dustin's Ramblings:
Hey, as some of you know I have a job, I won't specify where b/c of
fear of getting fired......and it's not exactly where most people
picture heterosexual males to work.....no not starbucks....anyway they
have a policy that you can't distribute literature to anyone, not even
fellow employees...anyway tonight I noticed that they had literature
and were asking for help with the March of Dimes....I agree with the
March of Dimes mission statement and all....saving premature
babies....but I don't like the hypocracy of some of my managers...Here
is a group that they are supporting that saves premature babies, babies
that obviously aren't 9 months old. Of course most of you know
that a baby who is not 9 months old is not considered human by
"pro-murder...errrr pro-choice" activists. So essencially what it
comes down to is not if it's 9 months old, it's still human before
that, worth of life support, only if the child is wanted. Which
since it's only human because it's wanted what's to stop someone from
"abortiong" their 3 year old if they don't want it. It's just not
ligical....but of course no pro-choice person is logical.....That's all
for now
Oh, I've changed my opinion of March of Dimes...I now know that they
experiment on aborted "fetal tissue"...in doing so they are just
fueling the fire for abortion...anyway the post still applies just now
instead of my place of work it also applies to March of Dimes

| Dustin's Ramblings:
How many more children must die before America realizes the wrong they have committed as a country...
As I was trying to fall asleep last night I came to the sudden
realization that we as a country are sacraficing our children to
idols. One of those idols is money. A common excuse for
having an abortion is because of lack of capital to support a
baby. Often times it's just that we don't want to give up our
lavish lifestyles. Another idol is our time. We don't want
to give up our "play time" so we decide to murder our children...in
other words our entertainment is worth more than a human life.
